Preference Day Date

I put together an ultimate amazing date race for Kimball's preference group.  

The Ultimate Amazing Race Group Date

OBJECT:

The Object of this date is to follow colored clues to complete 7 challenges and collect all the items needed for your date, in the shortest amount of time.  

Fill up the car

 Don’t forget the tickets

 Bring flowers

 Can I buy you lunch?

Don’t forget the drinks

 Refreshments are a must

Enjoy your date (final destination)

They opened an envelope with a picture clue. When they arrived at the pictured spot they could open the corresponding envelope and complete the challenge. They then would text me a picture and I would send them the next envelope color to open.

 Fill Up The Car

Maverick of course is ”Adventures First Stop,” now fill up the car, don’t miss a drop!

Challenge:

Go inside and pay the full $5 provided in the envelope for your gas. Each couple must put exactly $1 of gas in the car.  For every cent each couple goes over $1 your team will receive a one minute penalty. Each couple must complete this challenge, so I will need a picture of each couple with the $ amount showing so I will know if they completed the challenge with or without penalties.  When each couple has sent me a picture, I will send you the name of the next envelope color to open.

If you all did it correctly you should have $1 left. Go ahead and use the rest to fill up.

  Bring Flowers

If you are at the “Dollar Tree,” you’ve found the right spot. The place to buy flowers without spending a lot!

Challenge:

Using only the money provided ($3.50) buy the supplies needed for each girl in the group to create a Boutonniere for their date, and each guy to create a corsage for his date.  Once you have bought the items and assembled your flowers, text me a picture of your group wearing their flowers.  They must be visibly attached to the body somewhere. I will then send you your next envelope color.

  Refreshments are a must

If you’re at the Sweet Tooth Fairy you are in for a treat, finish this challenge and get something sweet.

Challenge:

Using the money provided ($15) order a cookie for each member of your team. Then ask if you can use frosting to write on your cookie.  Pay any extra money to the cashier to pay for the extra frosting used to write.

Each couple must write their dates initials on their cookie for them and then take a picture of your group holding your cookie.  Text me this picture and I will send you your next envelope color.

 Don’t forget the drinks

Thumbs up! You’ve found swig!

Challenge:

Order everyone on your team a 24 oz. drink using the money provided ($15).  Each drink must have 1 flavor shot and either a puree, cream or fruit. Take your drink and cuddle up next to your date on the swing.  Text me a picture of each couple on a swing with their drink in hand, and I will send you the next envelope color.

 Don’t Forget the Tickets!

Congratulations, you can find more tickets at Laser Mania than anywhere in town, make sure everyone gets a ticket or they will be let down!

Challenge:

Using the amount of money provided ($2), you must play games and collect a ticket for every member of your team (choose your games wisely). If you run out of money before acquiring a ticket for each team member, your team will be given a 1–minute penalty per missing ticket.  Text me a picture of your team with each person holding a ticket and I will text you the next envelope color.

 Can I Buy You Lunch?

If you are at Jimmy John’s you’ve found the right spot, smell’s are free unfortunately food is not!

Challenge:

The group must use the money provided to order a sandwich for each member of the team from the $4.89 sandwich menu. While waiting for your sandwiches, take each couples picture by a different Jimmy John’s Sign.  Text me the pictures of your team and once I have received the last one I will send you your next envelope color.

  Enjoy your date

Now run to the end, to the very tiptop!  Then send me a picture of your team and time will stop!

Challenge:

Take a picture of your entire team at the top of the finish line.  The Saint George temple must be in the background of the picture.

Then wait for a text announcing the winner, and gather your items and enjoy your lunch!

Funny Story...I did not realize their were 2 different water towers up by dixie rock.  The two teams each went to a different water tower and texted me their pictures at almost the exact moment!  So it became a tie!!  Each team got a medal of AcheiveMINT (mints to end their date).

The girls then surprised the guys with a cooler filled with water balloons and a water fight.
