Rebekah's baby shower

Image
Rebekah's story book themed baby shower was darling. It was so good to see her. We can't wait to meet baby Vickie!

Jane

This is Jane Anderson. I was called to be her ministering sister when we moved into the ward 9 years ago, and I sure have grown to love her!  I now consider her my friend.  She is on the arts council and invited me to a performance by the St. George Dance company, it was a very fun evening!

Dancing in the Homecoming Parade

Grace about died dancing in the homecoming parade. It was so hot!  She loves being a part of the dance company though!

Called To Serve

Image
Kody Opened his mission call tonight. He is going to the Chile Santiago South Mission. Starting home MTC December 20th. Heavenly Father sure answered my prayers.  Kody wanted to go foreign so badly, and I wanted him to go somewhere safe. Kody and I both felt so at peace with this mission call, although he is a little bummed he isn't leaving for 3 months. I am so proud of him for choosing to Serve the Lord.

Perrin Time

Danielle is expecting a new baby and has been very sick this pregnacy, which means Perrin gets to hang out with me from time to time. Love it!

A Double Birthday Party

Image
Jace's family came into town just in time for us to throw a double birthday party for Hinckley and Ever. It was fun to have them here for a few days.

Oil in Our Lamps

Image
I was asked to speak at our Relief Society activity about filling our lamps.  We gave each of the sisters an oil lamp and then they did a sort of spiritual evaluation and filled their lamps.  I then shared some personal experiences and compared us to the parable of the ten virgins.  Kimball also sang "Savior  Redeemer of My Soul."  It was a very spiritual evening.  I got a few phone calls after from sisters thanking me.  It must have been well received because the next month I was asked to teach it again to all the adults in our combined 5th Sunday meeting.  It was fun teaching a lesson with Garrett.

Gifts

Kimball gave us this white board to put in our closet and write things we love about each-other.  We chose the closet so the kids couldn't see personal things we write, but they go in all the time to get to the exercise room or to borrow mom's clothes.  We have warned them!
