Bountiful Baskets

Image
I Love, Love, Love this! I have finally jumped on the train and got my first basket this Saturday. This entire tub full of produce for only $16.50 (well $3 extra the first time) Find one in your area, it is the best!

Track Meet

Image
We all got our first sunburns of the season watching and participating in the school track meet. Kimball and Jaden both did awesome, but were ready to get home and out of the heat. Jaden got first place in the 50, but since he is only in second grade it was just a practice for the real thing next year. Good thing, because he ran out of his lane and would have been disqualified. Now he knows. The thing he liked the most was eating lunch with mom, Grace and Taylor. Kimball is a pro now, and had fun spending time with her friends. She opted to stay at school after so she could hang out longer, even though they had to clean classrooms. And then there's Grace. She wanted her hair done just like Kimball's. She just got into everyone's lunches and ate the entire time. Good thing her friend Cody was there to keep her company.

Catch up

I just posted a lot of pictures. Read the letter's at the end from Jaden and Kody they are hilarious!

Baby Balancing Act

Image
Close your eyes grandma's! I think Garrett has done this with every single one of our babies. You can tell I am on baby number 5 when I take a picture instead of freak out! :) I love those massive forearms! A definite Wastlund trait. Taylor loves her daddy!

Daddy's boys

Image
Jaden and Kody helped daddy build this trampoline dunk hoop. Garrett and his brother Kraig had one growing up, and had so much fun with it, that he wanted to share that with his boys. They spend hours out there, and are actually becoming great shots. Look at that form. :)

Playing dolls

Image
Grace and I spend a lot of time playing dolls (she takes the clothes off, and I put them back on). Taylor got to join in this time also, she's the cute bald one with her tongue sticking out. These dolls names are Hannah and Kai (yes Brecken and Krista she chose those names herself).

Kody's letter

I woke up to this letter from Kody this morning. If only my scanner would work! Dear Mom and Dad, I want a pet. I want a fish. I love you mom and dad. From: Kody To: mom and dad Now how do you say no to that?

Jaden's letter

I found this note before bed. Dear Family, Mom and Dad I really want to get a pet dog. Even if you did get me a dog I would clean it's pooh. Oh sorry I forgot that Grace was afraid of dogs. Maybe we could get a fish. It would be fun to watch it swim. I would take care of it and you won't have to worry. Please let me get a fish. From Jaden PS- Kody is going to make a card like this one if you say no. I can't believe he gave up on a dog just to make his little sister happy. We may end up with a fish.

Tuacahn Choir Festival

Image
Kimball's school performed with about 10 other schools in our district last night. And what greater setting than beautiful Tuacahn. It was a patriotic theme, and I can't tell you how nice it was to hear songs sung about Religion, God, Church and Freedom, words that are slowly being forced from our society. I felt the spirit even while wrestling 4 children. :) As always I forgot my camera, but thankfully have wonderful friends. Thanks for the Pictures SuLynn!

Easter

Image
H a P p Y E a S t E r ! From the Wastlund's I think the neatest thing about the weekend was sharing Easter with General Conference. What a great way to remember our Savior. We Also loved spending the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Woodstock. We helped them Fix up their new home in St. George and can't wait for their move here in a few months! We love the annual Easter egg hunt in our circle. Our yard is where are the 1-2 year old children get to hunt eggs each year. Following the hunt we have a potluck breakfast and "find the jelly bean contest." The Weiland's do a great job putting it together every year. Thanks!
