Airport Field Trip

Image
Taylor loved her trip to the Airport! She is the one in the purple jacket. She was so excited to tell me all about getting to go inside an airplane and wear the headphones.

Missionary Photo Shoot

This is Jaden's good friend Trevor.  They were all dressed up for their business class in school and came home and decided to have a little fun.  We will be so sad when Trevor moves this summer!

Priesthood Preview

Image
We have the best priesthood leaders in our ward.  They are such great examples to these young men,  It is so neat to see my two boys growing up and developing such strong testimonies.  It was a wonderful, spiritual evening!

Puzzles

Image
These cute girls love  puzzles, so today we had a puzzle day and they filled the entire table with puzzles they put together.

Grandpa

I walked into grandpa's house today and this is what I saw.  He is so patient with the kids, especially this little monkey. We love Grandpa!

The Trouble with Vegas Basketball

Image
Thank heaven's Garrett took the boys to their Vegas tournament, I would have probably ended up in tears.  His navigation was not working well, and finding his way to the different gyms in Vegas was a chore. To make matters worse, his truck got towed. He parked near the Tarkanian Basketball Center in a parking lot that had no visible signs saying not to park there, but when he came out of the game an hour and a half later his and about 24 other cars were gone.  The tow company and business there have a good deal going and are making bank. Very dishonest! These are the two pictures Garrett sent me from the weekend...paying $240 to get his car from the tow company, and a blurry one of the boys waiting for a game. They did have a fun weekend with their dad though!

While the boys are away, the girls will play!

Daddy took the boys to a basketball tournament in Vegas, and so the girls and I had some girl time. We always have fun at the Boulevard.  The little girls loved the car stroller and Kimball helped mom look for a new clock. We went and saw the new movie "Cinderella." I thought Hinckley might actually sit through it, but I ended up taking her for a drive until the movie was over.  I had already seen it, so Kimball stayed with the girls to watch. We even got some exercise in.

Saint George 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Image
Jaden and Kody 's teams both won the silver metal for their age group at the 3 on 3 basketball tournament this weekend.  It was a long, hot, fun day!  Jaden also won the slam dunk contest in the 14 and younger division and $75 worth of prizes.  He got the entire crowd cheering him on and did some awesome dunks. These boys love basketball!!

Washington

Image
Garrett had a slow week at work so we decided to take a last minute trip to Washington and visit Jamen's family.  Katie was awesome and at a days notice drove to Saint George to watch the kids.  Grandpa Woodstock was the designated taxi and took my kids to soccer, basketball, play practice, gymnastics, school and everywhere else they needed to be. They were in good hands! Jamen picked us of from the Seattle airport and we were able to stay at their beautiful home on base. Toren even gave up his room.  They all took the next day off school and work to show us Washington.  We started with this beautiful Tulip Festival.  We then continued up the coast and got to see the ocean, amazing bridges and all the beauty of Washington.  This was my first time on a ferry. It was amazing to see how many cars it could hold!  The next day we got a rental car and went to the Seattle temple and to visit downtown Seattl
