Preschool "Official" Gradutation

Image
This is Taylor's 3rd time graduating from preschool.  Her birthday is late and she missed the Kindergarten cut off last year, but she is now officially heading to Kindergarten.  We will miss Mrs. Susie!  Hinckley can't wait for her turn.:) It was a little sunny if you can't tell!  Taylor will miss all her friends, but hopefully she will see a few of them at Kindergarten.

Congrats Brianna!

Brianna is the first of the cousins to graduate.  She is such a great example to my kids, and Kimball and her have become good friends.  She looked beautiful and has so much ahead of her! Congratulations!

Payson Utah Temple Dedication

Image
Girl trip to Payson!  It was extremely windy and rainy, but there was nothing that could detract from the beautiful spirit of this temple.   The interior was gorgeous! Dark wood, stained glass and paintings that I have never seen before.  I enjoyed explaining everything to Kimball, it won't be long until she is there herself!  The font was Taylor's favorite part.  I didn't really get to see the celestial room because Hinckley was so excited that she was always two steps in front of us.  She was able to get around the crowd of people and left us in the dust.  By the time I caught up with her she was half way up the next flight if stairs. This large ceiling room was my favorite! The Chandelier was amazing and all the glass had stained glass roses and vines running through it.   After the temple we drove to American Fork to Katie's house.  We changed clothes and headed to dinner and to do a little shopping.  Ever

Wedding/Baptism

Garrett began inviting Steve (one of his employees) to church about three moths ago.  Him and his wife Juanita we found out actually live in our ward.  They came to a block party we threw, and Garrett introduced them to the sister missionaries.   Juanita has been an inactive member for years, but Steve loved church and began taking the discussions.  Juanita even began attending church with him and their son Koda (she is expecting a baby girl in July also).  Well, yesterday they were married and Steve was baptized. It was a great day!  Our ward was so wonderful and helped put together the entire thing.  I did decorations, Sis. Sevy did a relish tray and cupcakes, Cindy Dalton did salad, Jamaica Hansen did a wedding cake, and the family provided meat for pulled pork sandwiches. A huge thank you to SuLynn and Trevor for staying up late with me and getting it all put together, Lesly for the running around and help with the backdrop, an

Culture Fair

The project that has been the focus of life for the last 2 months is finally done!  A 25 page essay, testing, projects, choosing traditional clothing & food, and displaying it all at a cultural fair.  We know everything there is to know about Croatia!

Dance Banquet

If you know Kimball at all you would know that these awards are perfect for her.  She says "brilliant" all the time, and she just has It! These are her dance coaches that she has grown to love and admire. She has made so many friends this year.     She auditioned and made varsity again next year and is excited to continue on.  In her words "I need dance, there are some things you can only express through dance."
