Mother Daughter Date

Image
The girls and I ended the holiday vacation by going on a date to the Children's Museum.  They could spend all day here if I would let them!

Moving on to the next stage

This crib was given to Garrett and I by my grandma Atkinson before I had my first baby.  It has lasted for 15 years and through all 6 of our babies.  It was still too nice to just dump, so it went to a family in need.  It was a sad goodbye because with it goes the end of our "baby years."  Hinckley begins potty training next week and if all goes well will officially be a "big girl" before the year is up.  Oh how I will miss my babies, but am excited to begin the new adventure of teens and high school years.

New years goals

This is a selfie of Grandpa Woodstock and Kimball and Jaden getting ready to go in the Saint George temple to do baptisms for the dead. Kimball and Jaden have both followed grandpas example and taken off in family history work.  Kimball is researching ancestors and getting names ready to take to the temple, and Jaden has began indexing, and has a goal of 500 names indexed this month.  It has been wonderful to watch their testimonies grow before my eyes.

A new year in primary

I had fun getting the primary room decorated for the new theme and the closet cleaned out with my counselors.  I am excited to learn more about the Savior this year.  We have the best primary teachers in our ward, they love the kids so much and are so responsible.  I love my calling!  We had a party to help the kids get to know their new teachers better

Happy New Year!

We woke up to snow the first day of the new year.  Not much, but the girls took advantage of it before it all melted.
