Splash Pad

Image
One of the things I love about St. George is all of the splash pads.  We spend a lot of times at various ones throughout the summer. Grace even found a toad during our last outing:)

Goodbye 4th Ward

Image
This is the onesie a sweet sister in our ward cross-stitched for Hinckley when she was born.  We were only in the 4th ward for 3 years, but we have grown to love our ward family!  They are the most Christlike people we have known and took such good care of us during some very difficult times.  Our family is better for our time spent with them, and we are excited to love and serve our new ward family!

Happy Mother's Day!

Image
This is me with my mom and two grandma's. I love these incredible women, and feel so blessed to come from their family line.    I also love my second mother Lesly, and don't know what I would do without her in my life!  We took this picture to add to a picture of all her grandkids to give her for mother's day.

Look Who's Starting to Crawl!

5th grade "Give Me Liberty" Program

I am so glad our school still celebrates our country and it's history.  Jaden worked so hard memorizing and preparing for this program.  And the kids did an incredible job!

I love to sing!

Kimball has had concert after concert the last few months.  She loves choir and her voice lessons! Sunrise Ridge intermediate Choir  Vocal music performance.  She sang three songs...To the Sky, Feed the Birds, and Sisters.  Singing "I won't say I'm in love" from Hercules in an ensemble

Dad Retires

Image
The 3 older kids and I attended my dad's final concert of his career this month.  It was amazing, as everything my dad does always is!  Jace and Scott even made the trip to Cedar City to surprised him. We all went and celebrated at Denny's after the concert. Katie organized this gift from his choir and family to give him during the final concert.  It is an inscribed piano lamp.  He will be officially retiring June 1, 2013.  Dad invited me to his faculty dinner this month. They recognized him for his 34 years of service in seminary and institute. This was a letter signed by the first presidency and he will be receiving a lighted display clock.  It was almost like closing a chapter of our lives.  I grew up surrounded by seminary and Institute (at one point it was even attached to our house).  I would attend his classes as a little girl and sing and pass out treats.  I loved the seminary parties he would throw! I remember attending a few of his classes when I got older

Hooray for hand-me-downs!

My girls are in heaven when people drop off their hand-me-downs! It is like Christmas and they play dress up for a good hour!

Bedtime

These three little misses will be sharing a room in our new house, I can't wait to see them grow up as best buds.  Hinckley already wants to try to do everything her sisters do!
