Little League...a little late!

Image
The Dodgers and the Angels I have been waiting for Jaden's little league pictures to come before posting this. The last game was the end of May! Unfortunately it turns out the photographer was a crook and ran off with everyone's money(St. George City is still working on it). I only spent $10 and don't really care about the money, but am sad I don't have pictures of Jaden's team and his first year playing baseball. He was a natural, and got on base almost every time batting. He has quite the arm too and can throw it in from way out field, although his favorite position was first base. Kody on the other hand is still getting the hang of it. He did T-ball and loved being with his friends. He would get on bases and forget to run until everyone began yelling at him! :) He had a blast! The photographer didn't show up to do Kody's team photo's (thankfully) so one of the coaches had his father take the pictures (thanks Rod). He even made them each a baseb

Baby on board!

Yes, for all of those who don't already know and were wondering. I am expecting, due February 3rd. I have a tendency to miscarry so I wanted to wait until after my first appointment to make it official. One more week of my first trimester (and hopefully the nausea and tiredness). And yes, I have added a baby ticker to the blog! :)

Almost Two and Toothless

Image
Grace was playing in Kimball's room, when suddenly she began crying and Kimball ran in saying "Grace is bleeding." We stopped the bleeding and realized her top front tooth was missing. She had tripped and hit the corner of Kimballs trundle bed perfectly. We thought she had knocked it out and swallowed it because we couldn't find the tooth anywhere. We called the dentist and although it was after hours they still happened to be in the office and heard my message. They called me right back and told me to come in because thier might be nerve damage. He took an X-ray, and the tooth was still there, but had been jammed clear up into the gum. He said it looked like it hadn't hit the permanent tooth, and that in 8-10 weeks it should start to come back down. I had family pictures just in time! She has been so brave and we will have to watch her and make sure it doesn't get infected and need to be pulled. It could take a long time to be fully back in place, s

Days of summer past

The summer is moving too quickly and I can't keep up, so here is a quick catch up of all of the things we have been up to for the last few weeks. Lagoon The kids had a blast spending time with their cousins. Mom(me), grandma and Grace left after dinner, but Garrett and the three older kids and Krista and her kids went to lagoona beach and then stayed until closing time riding all the big rides. Again, we couldn't have done it without grandma! Sorry mom, I had to put this one in to show what a fun grandma my kids have! Thank goodness for Aunt Krista, who braved all the big rides with the kids. Summer Games Garrett Participated for his third year now in the summer games playing basketball. He sponsored 2 teams and played in both. The 30 and older division came away with the bronze, and the 18 and older non collegiate won the silver after a much debated ending. They were down by only one point, and our player went up for a lay up and was fouled as the buzzer went off, but one
