Happy Halloween

Image
Mommy's Little Witches  The Girls and I went to 2 Halloween parades all dressed as witches.  Don't ask...Jaden let a friend of his put his makeup on.  Hinckley changed from a witch to a witches cat by that evening.  She spits up more than any baby we have ever had!  Taylor made it to about 4 houses before we noticed she looked as white as a ghost.  We got her home just in time to throw up.  She ended up staying home with daddy, taking a bath and watching a movie.

Hinckley's 1st bath

I love this face!  She was not too sure about the water. :) Her umbilical cord took a month to fall off! So this was her first and last bath in the sink, she is already too big and has moved on to the tub.  Warning up to the idea.

Grandma Church

Image
I just found this hidden treasure on my camera.  I love my Grandma Church, she is such a valiant spirit and a constant example of generosity, love, gratitude and keeping an eternal perspective.  I am thankful my kids are getting to know her! She is so healthy that I think even little Hinckley will get to know her before she dies!:)

Learning How To Cook

Image
I was making dinner for a few families in our ward and Grace really wanted to help.  I told her she could make the enchilada for our family.  She watched what I was doing and made hers without any help from me. I told her this was a recipe that Grandpa Woodstock brought to the family and she needed to learn how to make it for her children some day. I told her I would teach her how to make something new every month. (even if it is only toast) :)

Blessing Hinckley Victoria

Image
We decided to get special permission to bless Hinckley while my brother was home from Afghanistan for mom's funeral.  He was my only brother able to be there.   She was very tired and grouchy before church so we didn't get many pictures in her cute bonnet. Grandma Wastlund bought her this beautiful dress!  Daddy has now blessed his final baby! He actually re-blessed her in the Bishop's office after church because the line of priesthood was never stated during the blessing and no one caught it until after. He gave a beautiful blessing though and got everyone crying as he reminded her that she is named after her grandma Vickie who will always be looking out for her.  Grandpa was there to hold his little Victoria.
