We took Taylor to the doctor and weighed her again yesterday and she had gained 7 oz. One ounce off, but the doctor said she is fine and to keep up with the nursing. I may start to give her 2 oz. in a bottle in the evenings for my peace of mind, I have never had the most filling milk. Back to birth weight Yippee!!

So my goal this year has been to journal more since I now know how to make by blog into a book. So here it goes... Taylor had her two week appointment yesterday and lost 1/2 a pound since her birth!!! Scary. She is now 7 1/2 lbs. She has been pooping non stop and it has been green. The doctor explained that some babies stomachs do not know what to do with the food it is given and it doesn't have a chance to go the liver before it is released( this explains the green poop). She really was going at least 12-15 times a day. She has finally gotten back to normal, and so I am to continue nursing and bring her back in a week to check her weight again. Other than that she is perfectly healthy. She is now 20 1/2 inches long, and her collar bone is healing nicely. She is such a sweetheart and will just sit and look around and listen to things going on around her. My other babies always had to be rocked to stay content. She is up every three hours at night, but she goes right back

Mom decorated Kimball's desk on her birthday while she was at lunch. A huge balloon(good choice daddy!), flower and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Kimball loved it! Because it was Kimball's year for a friend party, we celebrated her birthday 2 weeks early not knowing when to expect baby Taylor. Since she was turning 10 she was allowed to invite 10 friends. The highlight of the night was the "Shopping Scavenger Hunt" The girls had a blast although I am sure the Walmart employees weren't thrilled. The girls each got to take home something from the scavenger hunt, and yes...someone ended up with the pantyhose! :) Sorry Emma! They devoured 3 large pizzas, and entire bowl of chip dip, two bags of chips, an entire bowl of candy, and 24 pink lemonades. They played sing it, had a pedicure (no pictures, I was too busy scrubbing feet!) and had a fabulous time! Mary Kate Kimberly Erin Casidee Olivia Myley Eliza Ellie Emma Meg Happy Birthday Kimball!!
