 Jaden is Patrol leader right now and awarded the boys all their merit badges.  Both he and Kody are getting close to their eagle.  Three new eagle scouts!  Our ward has the best scouting program!

The morning started out rough, when I went upstairs to find my kids rooms a mess on the day I clean.  I was trying to get ready to go out of town, and had visiting teaching appointments that morning and was feeling very overwhelmed.  Just then Daniel walked in with a Daisy in his hand to wish me  a happy birthday.  I burst into tears :).  From that moment on the day went better.  I got busy and got to work, did my visiting teaching, and when I got home my mother-in-law and sis-in-law were there cleaning my house, and I was showered with gifts from family and friends.  Kimball even babysat for two nights so Garrett and I could get away to Zion.     I am so loved! Our ward held a family history fair in February.  The primary presidency was in charge of finding a way to help the primary age children get excited about family history.  We filled a paper bag with hershey kissed, one for each leaf on the tree, and wrote different ways to they could do family history on each heart leaf.  Every time they do one they get a kiss out of the bag.  The kids had fun making them, and doing "string stories."  It was a fun night.

I put together an ultimate amazing date race for Kimball's preference group.   The Ultimate Amazing Race Group Date OBJECT: The Object of this date is to follow colored clues to complete 7 challenges and collect all the items needed for your date, in the shortest amount of time.   Fill up the car  Don’t forget the tickets  Bring flowers  Can I buy you lunch? Don’t forget the drinks  Refreshments are a must Enjoy your date (final destination) They opened an envelope with a picture clue. When they arrived at the pictured spot they could open the corresponding envelope and complete the challenge.
