A lump

Image
Grace was having pain between her chest and left shoulder and there was a huge lump. The size of a ping pong ball. They mentioned breast cancer and we tried not to freak out. When they did the biopsy it was just blood and puse and they drianed it. They have no idea why is appeared, she may have hit it hard there or something, but not cancer!! Poor Grace has been through so much! She also has had a few ovarian cysts burt that have been very painful. Her body just cannot catch a break.

Grandma Trips

Image
Grandma Wastlund has taken the kids on Grandma trips since Kimball was a little girl. They love this one on one time with Grandma and have developed such a great relationship with her. I love that she also takes the opportunity to stregthen their testimonies. I once attended a class and they said that it takes 3 people to raise a good child. 2 Parents and an outside influence. Grandma Wastlund has been such a support to us as parents, and we are so grateful for her.

Welcome Lizzie Mae Sullivan- I'm a grandma!

Image
Lizzie Mae Sullivan 8 lbs. 9 oz. 20 inches long. Born at 8:28 p.m. Kimball and Ben were rock stars. So in tune with each other.  It was fast and furious, she was 8 days overdue so she was started on pitocin around 4:00 pm and 4.5 hours later Lizzie was  here. Kimball did it all un-medicated. She danced through the first part, but things really picked up when she got in the tub and her water broke. She started to get really dizzy and they put her on some oxygen, and pushing was rough!! She tore so badly and I think will have some ptsd about it for a while. The sweetest part was looking up to see Ben looking down ay his wife and new daughter when she arrived with tears steaming down his face. I was so grateful that I was able to be apart of it!

Doula

Image
Kimball hired our good friend Molly Simpson to come clear from Georgia and be her doula. We thought for sure Lizzie would cooperate. We even had a scare thinking Kimball's water had broken, but it was a false alarm. Molly gave massages and moral support for over a week and finally had to head home. Lizzie arrived a week later.  I was blessed to be at the birth when she had to leave since only 1 person other than mom and dad was allowed to be there.

Accident at work

Image
Kody got his finger too near the router on the pocket machine at work and hamburgered the bottom of his finger. There was not enough skin left to stitch it, so they did a loose stitch to hold it in place and he has to keep it bandaged until the skin grows back. Kody is bummed! He Garrett and Jaden are signed up to play basketball in the summer games, and he hopes 2 weeks is enough time to heal so he can play.

Little Entrepreneurs

Hinckley and her friend Kenzie love doing lemonade stands. In 2 days they made $31 each. The neighbor in the house behind them sent me this picture because she was out working in her garden, and the girls saw her working hard and went and gave her a free glass of lemonade. It made her day!

Relief Society Paint Night
