Summer Fun!

Image
My kids have thoroughly enjoyed having their Woodstock cousins living so close.  We spent an afternoon on main street square with them this summer. Unfortunately the carousel has been out of order.  Another favorite of ours is Judd's store.  My kids love the old fashioned sodas and ice cream. And snow cones are awesome with ice cream at the bottom! Aunt Krista was even nice and took Grace to see the ducks with Kai. Jumpin Jacks!

Kody Turns 9

Image
Kody is the king of the pool! He celebrated with friends and family at Grandma's pool. His request was KFC and chocolate cake! His birthday dinner on his actual birthday.  Notice he is also holding an iPod touch.  He saved $100 and mom and dad paid for the rest. He absolutely loves it! Happy Birthday Kody, we love you!

Swimming lessons

Image
Jaden, Kody and Grace had swimming lessons this year.  They all were so much better swimmers by the end of the summer.  Kody lives for the diving blocks.  I think he tries the hardest to cannonball his teacher!   I did think Grace was going to sink to the bottom of the pool a few times in the deep end, but she made it.  Jaden lives to show off his muscles. He loved diving for the bricks, but being the only one in his class who can actually get them from the bottom made him a little light headed.  He had to dive for everyone else's brick too.  His big accomplishment this year was being able to get two at a time.

Girls Camp

Image
This camp was bitter sweet as I was released as Young Women President a few weeks after to concentrate on having my baby and have more time for my mom and family.   I loved this calling and will miss these amazing girls and leaders! Kimball made it through her first year of girls camp. And mom made it through pregnant! I took over 100 pictures so I am only posting the ones of kimball and a few of my favorites.  I was always behind the camera so there are only a few of me.  The theme this year was E.R (Eternal Rewards) each ward had a different color scrubs. Our awesome camp leaders!  You would think with this much energy they could go to bed before 4 in the morning!  Jannie was left up on the mountain and we had to find her and then carry her down!  Canoeing  Value colored cornstarch war!  Check out that awesome bow.  Sis. Leavitt cut a whole in the top of her hat and then Stella (our resident hair stylist) did her hair to look like a bow.
