Dancing at Disneyland!

Image
Kimball's dance company got to perform at Disneyland and attend some workshops.  What an awesome experience. Disney knows how to put on a great show! I even dragged SuLynn with me on a last minute trip to go watch her. How Fun! We arranged flights, shuttles, hotels and tickets in a few days and were off.

Happy 13 Jaden!

Image
Jaden is finally a teenager!!  We had a birthday dinner at grandma's house with banana cake trifle as per Jaden's request. Because he is now a teen we took him out to dinner and gave him his ruby ring.  It is inscribed with proverbs 31:10 to remind him to stay virtuous and pure.  He also got his own phone.  We started with a dumb phone to see how he handles it.  Jaden was feeling rich after opening grandpa's card. Jaden had to stay late after church on his birthday to bring the Sacrament to the shut in's, so the kids took the opportunity to have some of his favorite's waiting for him when he got home.  We love you Jaden!

Happy Birthday Bishop!

The Kids and I love to decorate the Bishop's door for his birthday and stock him up with more candy for his office.

Friends

Image
I have always been blessed with friends in my life, who love me for who I am, and want me to be happy and succeed in life.  This was just a quick gift one of these special women dropped by to cheer up my house. :)

Theater

Image
Jaden is in advanced theater this year, and is quite the actor himself.  He played Hansel and a nerd in the intermediate schools production of "Once Upon a High School" and was amazing!

House of Hoops

Image
Jaden and Kody tried out and made the House of Hoops traveling basketball team.  They are both getting so good and are so blessed to have opportunities like this.  It is a huge commitment with 2 practices a week and traveling to Cedar, Vegas and Salt Lake on weekends.  I have to admit I am excited to have weekends back again when the season is over, but love to watch them play! The boys and I stayed the night in Cedar last weekend and enjoyed shopping and a movie between games.  I love my boys!

F.H.E. on town square

Image
Breckan and grandma invited us to a last minute picnic on town square.  It was a beautiful evening.  All of my children were there, everyone got along, and I felt a little heaven on Earth as we were driving home and the entire family was singing along to broadway tunes in the van. Life is good!
