Washington

Garrett had a slow week at work so we decided to take a last minute trip to Washington and visit Jamen's family.  Katie was awesome and at a days notice drove to Saint George to watch the kids.  Grandpa Woodstock was the designated taxi and took my kids to soccer, basketball, play practice, gymnastics, school and everywhere else they needed to be.

They were in good hands!

Jamen picked us of from the Seattle airport and we were able to stay at their beautiful home on base. Toren even gave up his room.  They all took the next day off school and work to show us Washington.  We started with this beautiful Tulip Festival.

 We then continued up the coast and got to see the ocean, amazing bridges and all the beauty of Washington.

 This was my first time on a ferry. It was amazing to see how many cars it could hold!

 The next day we got a rental car and went to the Seattle temple and to visit downtown Seattle.  We just enjoyed the day and then went to dinner and did some shopping.

Then it was back home!  

It was so fun to spend some time with my sweetheart!
