My Challenge

I feel one of the greatest obstacles facing our youth today is self doubt.  They live in such an insecure world, where they battle what is right and what the world believes they should think is right.  If they don't go along with this worlds misguided and sinful views they are ridiculed and called a hater.  The youth now fear standing up and being a voice for good, so they remain silent and keep their doubts to themselves.  The challenge we face as parents is to help them help themselves. Encourage scripture study, prayer, journal writing, church attendance and partaking of the sacrament, seeking for personal revelation, temple attendance.  All those things that will strengthen their testimony and make them unshakeable, because we know they will be shaken to their very core!  Only these things will give them the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost and help them to realize that it doesn't matter what is going on in the world around them, as long as they are doing these things they are doing enough and the Lord will take care of the rest.  We need to teach them to have Faith!!!
