Bionic- Believe it or not I care

Go through folder and introduce theme.

Definition of Bionic- Having ordinary human powers increases by the aid of devices.

No matter how good of a leader we are we are human!  We will be nervous sometimes having to speak or lead or interact with inactive people, we will all say stupid things; we will all fail at times.

But there are increased powers we are given as leaders.  Any Idea what power that is?

We have the constant example, love and guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the founder of this church.

I am going to show you a movie clip from the movie big hero 6. As you watch this I want you to open your folder to your notes section, and take note of things that can be compared to leadership. Whether good or bad as you watch.  (Clip of  Tadoshi creating Bemax)

Discuss-

My thoughts
-“I’m not giving up on you, you don’t understand this yet, but people need you, so let’s get back to work!

This is why we serve!  We see the potential in those around us as sons and daughters of God and our brothers and sisters.  We try so hard to help others see it in themselves.

-You work!  When we finally see someone come back to church, feel the spirit, see themselves as a child of God we get so excited.

-Wait til my brother sees you, you are going to help so many people.  Wait until Heavenly Father  sees you loving and serving his children.

Go over first 3 characteristics of Jesus Christ the Perfect Leader

Show Final movie Clip (Bamax and Hero go through portal)- Look for attributes of Jesus Christ the perfect Leader

Bear testimony

We are all human, but we are never alone.  We have Power through knowing the Savior never gave up on us, even when in the garden of Gethsemane suffering pain beyond description and knowing he would die.  We are his patient, he knows and loves us each personally and individually.  He knows how to help us, we just have to remember that he is here, and we will lead and serve in a way that will help those around us feel of his Love.
