Wastlund Family

We have had a hard time finding time to go on date night, so I fed the kids early and snuck into the casita and set up Garrett's favorite dinner of fish.  When he got home from work we snuck over before the kids saw us, locked the door and enjoyed 30 minutes of peace and quite over a nice meal.  Sometimes you have to improvise.

I love taking my kids to the Rodeo every year.  They have fun watching all the cowboys and princesses with their horses. Grandma and grandpa even joined us and brought the cousins.

My dad brought this box of memories of my mom over for me to store.  It was hard and beautiful going through it.  I realize more and more as the time passes how much my mom did for her family.  I am much of who I am because of her, and I thank Heavenly Father for giving me such a choice mother.  I found some pictures of one of my mom's last birthday's on this Earth, and couldn't resist re-posting them.  What great memories!

Hinckley got to celebrate her birthday at Grandpa Woodstock's swimming pool just like she wanted.  She was beyond excited about every gift as you can see. She loved getting cards in the mail! And even got a birthday lunch at Chic-Fil-A.  Her favorite! We love this little gal, she brings so much fun and love to our family!

Hinckley's preschool teacher sent me this picture of her sound asleep amidst the chaos. 

Jaden and Kody's friend Colton Weeks asked if Hinckley could come to his Preschool lab at school.  She was happy to go and be with her 3rd brother.

The activity could not have gone any better!  I was amazed what these kids were able to create out of garbage!  Putting on the Armor of God The Temple The Temple  Jesus, with a lion and a lamb...this group even looked up scriptures that went along with "Feed My Sheep." And dessert of course

It is nice living near a river.
