Highlights of the day

Bishop Sonju called Kody that morning to talk to him and see if he was excited to be baptized (we love our bishop!)
Mommy got to give the talk on the Holy Ghost.
Kody had to be dunked twice because his hand wasn't all the way under
The wonderful spirit as Kody received the Holy Ghost
The after Baptism root beer float party at our house
The next day in church Kody stood with the bishop to be welcomed as the newest member of our ward. After we had all sustained him, the bishop leaned over and talked with Kody for a long time. We were all beginning to wonder what was going on. After Kody finally sat down Bishop Sonju explained that Kody had been showing him all the cool things he had gotten for his baptism (his future missionary tag, tie tack, scriptures etc...). The entire congregation got a good chuckle out of that one!
