Goals

Every year when tithing settlement comes around we wish the kids made money so we could teach them more about tithing and saving, and help establish some deep rooted habits. Well, this year we are trying something new.  They will receive $10 a month.  $1 will go to tithing, $1 to short term savings,$1 to long term savings, and the rest to spending.  They have also made some goals to save for weddings and missions, and are now responsible to pay for themselves when we go to movies, out for treats or other family activities. Mom made some binders and goal sheets to help them be responsible for their money.  They are very excited and we hope this will help them learn financial responsibility especially as they get older and begin making more money.

I am so very jealous of your ingenious! You will have to let me know how it goes! I love your new red pictures! It is very cute. Garrett looks a little overwhelmed, but I really really loved it!
