Happy 60th Birthday Dad!

We had to make a big deal out of dad's 60th birthday!  Katie came in to town the night before and surprised him, and then Daniel and Amy met us at "The Gun Barrel" steakhouse for dinner.  The little kids stayed back at the house with a sitter and were all ready to surprise grandpa with a party when we got back.  Amy made a delicious German Chocolate cake, and Katie put together a book with letters and pictures from all of his children and grandchildren.  Dad emailed us all later and said that he just got done sitting out on his back porch crying as he reading his book.
