Wastlund Family

 As part of my calling in the Stake Primary Presidency, I get to decorate for the Stake Art Show. Since we are studying the New Testament this year the children prepared art from stories from the New Testament. It is amazing how creative they are and what they come up with. I created the Sea of Galilee and used the theme “Follow Me and I will Make you Fishers of Men” to decorate. The children and parents both loved it. I think some things are worth spending time and effort on. It creates at atmosphere that the spirit can be felt, and makes the children feel important. Garrett was my right had man of course and made my design dreams a reality. He made me stands for the tables and a boat. 

Lydia Marie Sullivan joined our family September 20th 2023. Born at 9:24 am, 7 lbs. 5 oz. 20 inches long.  Kimball was scheduled to be induced later that day, but at 3am labor pains woke her up. At 4 they left for the hospital. They were not going to admit her because she was a 3+. She walked around and they checked her again and she hadn’t changed, but she told them she comes quickly and so they decided to admit her around 6 am. Lydia was born about 3 hours later. She has such a calm temper and sweet spirit, and seems happy to be here on this Earth with her wonderful family. I am so proud of Kimball and how gracefully she handles motherhood. Her children feel safe and secure in their home with a mommy and daddy who love them and bring the spirit.   

Hinckley-5th   

 This was a special birthday, the birthday before Hinckley joins the young women program at church. This is the birthday she is allowed to get her ears pierced. She had a group of friends to support her and then they can back to the house for a Chick-Fil-A charcuterie board, and a spa slumber party.
