Wastlund Family

Taylor has started soccer again. She is the ultimate goalie and usually plays that position the 1st half. No one can score on her. When she gets out on the field she can also make some great shots. And is the best at passing on her team.

We had an easter egg hunt and bbq at the cabin. Perfect place for it with lots of places to hide eggs. The older kids hid them for the little kids and then the younger kids hid a golden egg for the older kids to find. I also did a nice Easter Dinner at home.

Grace tried for the Desert Hills High School dance company, and was one of only 6 upcoming 9th graders that made the team. She had to write an essay, get teacher recommendations, choreograph a dance, do an interview and learn two other dances to perform. It really was a miracle that she was even able to try out when 7 monthe before she was fighting a spinal infection and couldn't even walk. Her back still causes her pain, and probably always will, but she is so much better!!  Her cousin Hannah made the team as only 4 upcoming 8th graders as well, and she is so excited to be on it with her.

Krista surprised Jamen with a surprise birthday dinner at our bouse. It was fun to celebrate with him before he headed back to Germany to start his new job.
