New York Trip Day 1

I was lucky enough to get to go to New York with Kimball and some other friends and parents in her  dance group.  We started out already sleep deprived having to be to the bus at 3:00 in the morning.  We were so excited though that we didn't care!

The Bus was Freezing!

At the Airport in Vegas heading to New York.  The plane ride was 5 hrs and we tried to sleep with no success. 

 Once we arrived in New York WE waited about 45 minutes for our bus to arrive.  We made goof use of the time as you can see.

We traveled by bus to the Hilton Hotel which was off of Time Square and central to everything.  And as you can see we had an amazing view from our room.  The only mishap was Kimball leaving her phone complete with debit card and license on the bus!!!  We searched everywhere hoping she just dropped is somewhere between the bus and our room but it was gone.  We said and prayer and felt at peace and were able to enjoy the rest of our evening.

 That evening we saw our first Broadway show "Les Miserables."  The cast, the set, and the visual effects were awesome! Probably the best of all the shows we saw, but it was ruined for us by the directors take on the production.  He sexualized everything!  We found ourselves averting our eyes and feeling very uncomfortable most of the show, and should have walked out! 

When we walked out of the show onto Time Square at 10:30 that evening it seemed like it was still day.  There was so many light and people.  New York never sleeps! It was a very interesting walk back to the hotel.
