Aida!!!

Kimball made the lead role in her high school musical "Aida."  She is only a Sophomore and didn't even audition for the part of Aida, but as Nehebka which is a much smaller role.  Grandpa went as her accompanist and said she did amazing! I knew she would make callbacks, because she is so talented, but she was so shocked when they kept having her come in and audition with different characters as Aida.  We waited up until 10:00 for the final cast list to be posted online, and she was Aida!  She is so excited because she fits the character so well and it is a dream roll for her.  The only apprehension we both have is that she will have to kiss on stage.  She is not quite 16, and it is too bad her first kiss will be a stage kiss, but she has very high standards and plans to talk to the director about what she does and does not feel comfortable doing.  She has always said that she will not kiss a boy until after her mission, and that this doesn't count, when she has no feelings for the other person...she is acting!:)
