Happy Halloween!
Friday was the costume parade at school, and Garrett and I helped out at Jaden's Halloween party. I am still trying to kick this stupid cold. I had to wear a mask the entire time, if I had scrubs I could have just called it my Halloween costume!
Katie and Steve came to visit for Halloween. The kids were so excited!
We started the morning with a Halloween breakfast. Pumpkin waffles, homemade syrup and eggs and sausage, and then spent the rest of the morning carving pumpkins.
Katie and I took the younger three around trick or treating, and I allowed Kimball along with four of her friends to go around the neighborhood together ( I guess we are no fun anymore). Kody wanted to pass out the candy at the door rather than trick or treat, which was fine by mom. He was a great help! Kimball made sure she was home by 8:00 though so the kids could begin their favorite part of Halloween...The Candy tradingAnd our family tradition of hot chocolate and a scary movie. This years pick was "The headless horseman."
